Gatwick Airport North Terminal, Pier 6
The world’s busiest single runway airport, Gatwick is undergoing a £1.11bn investment to help cope with rising passenger numbers, which are expected to be 53m per year by 2023.
Back in 2005, Metron FMC supplied the water metering network for the inception of Pier 6. The team have now been asked to consult on and supply metering solutions for the Pier 6 extension.
One Churchill Place, London
Serving as the headquarters of Barclays Bank, One Churchill Place is located in Canary Wharf and is one of the tallest office blocks in the UK.
Much of the office space was redesigned to enable ‘hot-desking’ throughout. The subsequent changes in energy demands meant that Metron FMC was asked to supply a range of metering solutions so that Barclays remains an industry leader on agile and collaborative working.
Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge
Founded in 1766, Addenbrooke’s Hospital is an internationally renowned teaching hospital and research centre in Cambridge, renowned for being England’s first operational Regional Major Trauma Centre.
The team at Metron FMC were able to evaluate the metering requirements for a new elective care facility and supply MID Class 2 metering systems to ensure accurate energy management.
Heathrow Terminal 5
Containing the largest free-standing building in the UK, In 2015 Heathrow Terminal 5 handled over 33 million passengers on over 200,000 flights!
The Metron FMC technical team were asked to advise on refitting the water and heat metering networks. The meters supplied will keep T5 at the forefront of energy management for years to come.
India Buildings, Liverpool
One of the most iconic buildings in the North West, The Grade II listed India Buildings has undergone refurbishment to facilitate the relocation of government departments, headed by HMRC.
The water metering network required updating to ensure full compliance with the Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme (WRAS). The team at Metron FMC made sure that WRAS approved water meters were supplied, delivered and supported.
